This sage is native to the southern part of the state, it is found in chaparral, coastal scrub and on dry slopes. It is usually around 5' in height. The leaves are quilted and dull green and release a wonderful aroma. The blue-purple flowers are arranged in whorls and loved by bees. Give this plant full sun, good drainage and occasional water during the dry season.
