This fast spreading perennial is native along the California coast. Leafy green shoots are topped with 1 1/2" wide pale lavender flowers with yellow centers in summer. It is a quick spreading plant and a good soil stabilizer, but can be invasive if not managed. A good filler in a meadow garden. Attracts butterflies and beneficial insects. Moderately deer resistant, though deer may nibble on the young growth.
