More on Deer...

Juncus effusus is a wide ranging rush found in North America, Eurasia, New Zealand, and eastern and southern Africa. 'Spiralis' is a horticultural selection from Japan. The twisted leaves are structurally appealing and can add a sense of whimsy to the landscape. In your garden give this rush a moist situation with at least partial sun. Great for the edge of a pond or near a water feature that splashes over. If happy, can spread over time unless planted in a weed barrier or pot.
