This selection of the California Fuchsia has the largest leaves of any we have come across, giving it a lush appearance without affecting its drought tolerance. Its habit is similar to the straight species, reaching 12 - 18" tall and spreading 3 to 4 feet. Large orange-red flowers top the felty gray leaves in late summer, a valuable source of food for hummingbirds. Provide sun to light shade, and regular or monthly watering once established.
