Similar to our local Mugwort, this Southern California native differs in requiring more sun to thrive, and having much more silvery foliage. A vertical habit and divided silver-gray foliage make it a strong accent. We have it in a bed with Clarkia and Manzanita, where it contrasts beautifully with the green foliage and purple flowers of its neighbors. Fall dormant.
