This variety is a rounded shrub 6-9' tall with a spread up to 10'. It can be shaped into a small tree or used as a hedge. In spring, it produces masses of sky blue flowers, in 3" clusters of deep-blue frosted with white. 'Frosty Blue' produces dense leaves and sturdy stems. Give this plant full sun to mostly sun. It is relatively tolerant of heavy soils and routine watering, but prefers good drainage. Moderate deer tolerance - protect for at least the first year and expect some browsing thereafter.
