This beautiful manzanita is a hybrid between the Hooker's and Pajaro Manzanitas that occured naturally in the Monterey Bay area. Combining the best features of both its parents, this shrub has the dense form and disease resistance of A. hookeri, and the beautiful bronze new foliage of A. pajaroensis. Forms a dense shrub, eventually becoming treelike with age.
