Description

A fast growing shrub, covered with lovely yellow flowers in May. The Yellow Bush Lupine is rarely found further than a mile from the coast, but is surprisingly adaptable - a former employee has a beautiful specimen in her garden near Yosemite. Plant it in a well-drained spot, in full sun, then sit back and enjoy the show. A native to the coastal bluffs from Ventura County north to Sonoma County. A good pruning in fall will encourage a bushier plant the following season.
