Description

A rare and endangered manzanita found in the Santa Cruz Mountains near Fulton and Scott's Valley in sandy soil. It has beautiful silvery leaves and grows to a lush 6-8'x6-8' shrub. Prefers good drainage and dry conditions once established. Bell-like white flowers appear in winter to provide a great food source for hummingbirds, the berries produced following are a delight to local songbirds. Does not tolerate summer water, so be sure to keep dry once established.
