Ceanothus thyrsiflorus - Creeping Blueblossom

Description

A groundcover with beautiful, glossy foliage and showy, flowers in 2" to 3" clusters. Very low and spreading, this shrub will grow 12" to 18" high, and spread 8' or more. It works well as a cascade over walls. Its flowers are medium blue and bloom between March and April. It tolerates a variety of soils, and is best grown in full sun with some summer water .
