Rhamnus californica 'Eve Case' - Coffeeberry

Description

A selection of the California Coffeeberry, this evergreen shrub is denser, more compact and reaches a height and spread of 8'. The large berries are borne on a plant with distinctly broader, flatter and brighter green leaves than is commonly found in this species. 'Eve Case' will grow in full sun to shade and will tolerate drought, although it prefers occasional summer water. A nice evergreen shrub for screening or a specimen, with good cover and food for songbirds.
