Aquilegia formosa - Columbine

Description

A hybrid between our two locally native Columbines. This plant has some of the best characteristics of each. It grows Between 2' - 3' and blooms prolificly through the spring and summer with typical red-orange spurred flowers favored by hummingbirds. This hybrid does best with occasional summer water, but is drought tolerant and will simply go dormant if none is given.
