Description

This is a very prostrate form of Juniper, growing 1-3' high and 8-10' wide. It grows at a moderate rate and is very drought tolerant. However, it can be watered regularly on a well-drained site, which will encourage faster growth. The lovely blue-green color of the leaves of this shrub make it an attractive and neat ground cover. Plant in full sun or light shade. It is native to stony and wooded slopes in the Sierra Nevada.
