Adenostoma fasciculatum 'Santa Cruz Island' - Chamise

Description

This selection of Chamise from the Channel Islands exhibits a prostrate yet bushy form. Expect 2-3 feet in height and 3-4 feet in width. It's potential lies in use as a groundcover in difficult situations. Place it in a sunny, well-drained site. After it has become established it will require little if any summer water. Cream colored flowers will grace the branch tips in early summer.
